A Piece of Architectural Art.....

This building has been under construction for the last year and a half or so.  When completed it will be home to the new Lou Ruvo Brain Institute.  The sign says, it's dedicated to cure Alzheimer's, Hunington's, Parkinson's, ALS and memory disorders.

I think the reason for the curvy building is to help activate something in the brain.  Just my thought.

It really is quite something, a piece of architectural art.  To see more detailed photos and to read about this wonderful facility click here.

  1. How very cool and I agree with you about why it is curved but then again what do we know. And what is up with you and the Genie Lifts/Forklifts here lately? Could it be some kind of weird fetish from being at home and attached to a computer?! Might want to check into that....LOL

  4. Sandy, I didn't even realize or notice the forklifts in this photo. It must be a subconscious thing. Hmmm, you could be onto something.

  5. My goodness - If I thought I had Alzheimers going in, I'd be certain coming out. But at least the building will look good if there is ever an Earthquake..who will know if it is damaged or not?

  7. isn't this interesting? I wonder what it is like inside, how the offices work. maybe the curvey look is optical illusion. (?)
