"G" is for GRATITUDE:
Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul. Henry Ward Beecher ~
Albert Schweitzer ~ At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person.
Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.
Every morning I wake up and thank God for my blessings. I feel gratitude when I look around at my surroundings. Sometimes, I can't believe that I have it so good. I wasn't living the best life before I met my husband. I was on a path of destruction and making terrible choices. I am so grateful that I met my husband when I did. He has been a great influence on me and I think that I have been good for him as well. I am thankful for my marriage and I do my best to express my gratitude every single day. I hope I never take that for granted. It's all too easy to let it slip away. We have been together now for 18 1/2 years and we will celebrate 15 years of marriage this November.
This is us in 2005
Gratitude is something I attribute to my spirituality.
I am so grateful to have wonderful parents and siblings.
I don't know what I would do without any of them.
I truly am blessed.
I really do thank God for my family.
God has granted me a Great family, Good friends and a grateful heart.
Smiles..... :)
