I had another photo of the same scene. Here is the result after playing with it in Picasa 3 Editor.
I really like the effects I put in and I think it looks much better than the original. It's much more interesting.
What do you think?
I'm a cool chick whose randomness wanders all over the page. I think. I dream. I write. This blog is my outlet to tell tales about any damn thing I want. Simplicity is my style. If you think long intellectual words are boring and pretentious, then you will love my blog. You might think my writing is crap, but I guarantee it is authentically me.
Oh wow..the vibrant colors, the dreamy drama! Picasa really did wonders, and you did good on that shot! Lovely effect, Jarie!
ReplyDeleteI like how you show the before and after. I love the fun colors in the second one especially the vibrant colors of the water pipe and spraying water, WOW!
ReplyDeleteI like both photos for different reasons ... and I do love to play with possibilities too ;--)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
I loooooove photo editing !!!
ReplyDeleteso of course I love the second one !!!
oops...notice how the first one you only "see" the bush...but the second one everything, especially the mountains jump off the picture ?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic job! I am no good at doing this. It's all I can do to take a picture!

I love playing with editing, I've learned so much that way. Nice job. Sounds like a great day...right up my alley.
ReplyDeleteThe 2nd photo is a dream image, just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove the 2nd one and love Picasa. That is what I use too.
ReplyDeleteI never think to tinker with my photos, but this is proof that I should spend some time doing it. I like the saturated colors of the second pic.
ReplyDeleteThe second photo is more beautiful. I love it!
ReplyDeleteHey Jarielyn,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my Iwanna Wednesday post and commenting. I love the way you play along with me :-)
Iwanna you to get out there and take photos also, since I'm stuck in the office. I did go out for lunch to pick up something and it's raining! I love the rain.
I love the way you tweaked that photo. Definitely more interesting.
It's always fun messing around with colours. I like the outcome. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's good for postcard use, Jarielyn.
