I'm a cool chick whose randomness wanders all over the page. I think. I dream. I write. This blog is my outlet to tell tales about any damn thing I want. Simplicity is my style. If you think long intellectual words are boring and pretentious, then you will love my blog. You might think my writing is crap, but I guarantee it is authentically me.
Oh what a great shot hon...I love old stuff!! Cracker barrel in AZ...when I was young many years ago.. one of my Dad's favorite places in TN was the original Cracker Barrel. Country ham and biscuits..every time...yummmm good memeories hon...thank you:) Hugs, Sarah
I was wondering where your post was...I guess you had lots of bridge pictures. Any made of wrought iron? Favorite color is this week...can you guess what I'm doing?
I like that a lot. There's something in particular about the leather that conjures a lot of sense memories. Just that feel of well-worn leather, turning the corner into being brittle.
It's a great photograph, and well done. I also liked seeing it, particularly after the Olympics where for the first time I realized how truly sharp skaters keep their skates for competition.
This helped return skating to the realm of cold noses, hot chocolate, and wobbly ankles. Something friendly :-)
You know, instead of the "Hey, did you know they're skating around on surgical scalpels??? EEK."
Really nice photo. I lived a few years in Las Vegas and would sometimes put the kids in the car and would drive to Kingman and get peanut butter pie at a little cafe there. Nice memories for us.
