It's A Yellow Peacock And Lavender Grass....

Lately, when I look at other photography blogs
I notice something strange happening to me.
Every part of my being becomes charged with electricity
while adrenaline courses through my veins.
I feel excited.
I feel alive.
My eyes widen and I swear I can feel the brightness
bounce off my enlarged pupils.
I am inspired by what I see
and I am amazed at all the creativity, talent, and artistry
that I come across.
My soul is nourished, yet restless
because I know deep down
what I aspire to be.
Lately, when I look at other photography blogs
I see all the possibilities that can come from inside of me.

Some of you may recall this peacock from an ealier post

Inspired by other photographers creativity
I decided to tweak it.
At first,
I was afraid to do too much,
and I was careful to maintain the original image
and here's how it turned out.

But,

I still wasn't quite satisfied.

I wanted something dramatic
and different.
So I kept all the original editing I did
and then I tweaked some more.

I added more effects here and there
and I turned my peacock yellow
and the grass a purpley lavnedar color.

It's not traditional by any means
but I sure do like the effect
and I think it's much prettier than the original.

I printed it out this morning onto a postcard.
The colors are so vibrant and beautiful.

I'm patting myself on the back.

I did good.

Now, I need to learn how to add texture to my photos
because that is what makes my heart beast faster
when I see it on other blogs.
It just adds so much originality to the already amazing photos.

I am learning so much
and I am very appreciative to those who came before me
and unknowingly showed me the way.
