Yay, I finally got motivated to go out and take fresh photos for this week's theme of yellow.
I wasn't sure what I wanted to do this week but yesterday I ended up at the Clark County Museum
and I found a few yellow items that I think are presentable for this post.
Of coure, this is a sign that can be found anywhere.
This one just happened to be at the museum.
An old truck with faded yellow paint.
Wagon Wheels
A yellow kitchen
A southwestern tiled dresser top
Western Union building
Okay, I know there isn't any yellow in this picture but I just had to throw it in there anyway.
This mirror was hanging in a replica antique shop at the museum.
Even though there is a price tag on the item, it isn't for sale. It's just to show how the antique shop looked back in the day.
I had fun in several different mirrors. I guess I can be a ham when it's just me taking the photos.
I've been doing a lot of things on my own lately because I don't have anyone to hang out with so I try to make the most of it. Haha.
Oh, and my blog post wouldn't be true to me if I didn't throw one photo in from my archive.
This is from my first beginner's group field trip last year.
From the same field trip.
I hope you all enjoyed my mellow yellow..

Those are nifty special effects in the photos with the tiles and the Western Union; I like that. ALso scrolled down to catch up with you and enjoyed your photo shoot with models; how fun that must have been!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots at the museum...and what a good idea for a photo shoot! Loved the Southwest Tiles and the Western Union buiding...they look like paintings...or special photo effects...great either way! I think the mirror self portrait works great for this theme....you are blonde! Well done for Yellow!
ReplyDeleteI remember my grand dad and mum used to have enamel basins and plates. they always get chipped and then mum used them for duck and chick feeding troughs.
