It's Friday, it's Friday.
My favorite day of the week and my favorite blog posts.
This week's theme is to look up and photograph things over your head.
My photos were taken down on Fremont Street in Las Vegas, Nevada
just a couple of weeks ago.
I hope you enjoy.
Well that's about it for now.

I get the feeling that when you look up in Las Vegas you get....'Here's Your SIGN'. What a great collection of signs, too. Fun ShootOut...I'm not deterred from wanting to go in the casi-No Craps place!
ReplyDeleteThat third photo stumped me for a minute. When I enlarged it I could see the letters. Great shot. Quite a colorful post for sure. It was a fun subject for me.

Vegas is full of things over ones head it appears!!
ReplyDeleteLove visiting the posts for this shoot out. So many are capturing the essence of their towns this week. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteJarieLyn, I know you often avoid sharing pics of the glitzy side of LV, but I'm glad you did this week. There is something about the crazy, over-the-top night life that I find fascinating. Your ironic eye has captured some very cool images. NO craps!!
ReplyDeleteLots over your head in LV! Love the spotlights shot!
ReplyDeleteThe Freemont Experance can be so fun. You Have a great eye for Photos!
ReplyDeleteVegas is such an interesting and fascinating city! the third shot is quiet a shocker, an entrance to haunted house?
ReplyDeleteAs silly as this sounds, I never really think in terms of Vegas in daylight. I always imagine a night scene.. full of lights.
ReplyDeleteSo many grat subjects in LAs Vegas..wonderful shootout hon...some made me giggle!! Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteGreat post, I love your second picture, that's a bit of a spooky sight to find over head!

Nitty Gritty Looks Up
Vegas is a fun place to visit. I did once but never made it to Fremont Street. want to go again for the light show. I think my fav is the mermaid shot.
ReplyDelete"No Craps" made me giggle..teehee
ReplyDeleteAnyway -visited Las Vegas last summer with my brohter, and Wow! everything seemed over my head, over the top -over the everything! And then some ''old guys'' thought I was a call girl! OMG! One of them pointed at me and said, "And that's a call girl..." and I just kind of faltered my steps and then hurried on back to my hotel *laughing* .... I'm 53 years old - geez.
Vegas - truly a strange and wondrous place!
Wow! These are fantastic. So incredibly colorful and varied.
