Earlier tonight I took my dog for a ride.
As we backed out of the drive way, I noticed this incredible full moon.
I didn't have my camera with me,
but I chased the moon turning this corner and that corner so that I could see it from different angles.
I swear, this is the biggest moon I've seen in a long while.
When I got home I got my tripod out and I took it and my camera outside to shoot the moon.
I played with various apertures and shutter speeds and two different lenses.
I got a couple of double vision moons that I think look kind of cool.
My husband doesn't like the double moon because it's not perfect.
But I think that's what I like about it.
It makes it more interesting to me.
I like a little imperfection now and then.
But then, I got a shot with more detail and more perfection but the sky around it is so dark.
It seems a little bland to me.
There's one that glows and is almost a double exposure and it is surrounded by clouds.
That is my favorite.
Which one do you like?
I really do like this last one.
It's as if the clouds are ready to swallow it up.
They are all lovely, JarieLyn but I prefer the middle. Guess I am just plain boring, I like things to look as I see them. So glad you are back!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots and I really like that last one, too. It was so bright last night, I opened the blinds in the bedroom to check on the neighbor's house next door. I thought they must have left their side porch light on. But it was the moon...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt was so beautiful last night. I thought about taking a picture but I was to olazy. So glad to see that you were not! Great pictures. Single moon for me :)
ReplyDeleteI love the clouds in the last one, but I love the moon detail in the 2nd. It was so bright it was keeping me awake last night.
ReplyDeleteThey are all wonderful, but I must admit...I do love the last one the best. I love full moons!
ReplyDeleteI love when the moon is so big and full that you feel like you can touch it! I remember when my son was small and he saw the moon like that he asked me for a fishing pole so he could catch it.
ReplyDeleteI love all these JL but that last one is my favorite. Great capture!
<><
I'm goin' with the last one! Lovely.
